Soltec is located in Tucson Arizona and specializes in the development and fabrication of water removable mandrel tooling materials and finished mandrels for low temp (thermoset plastics) and high temp (thermoplastics) complex composite applications. These applications include air ducts, stringers, spoilers, manifolds, winglets, rotor blades and a wide variety of other applications.  The Thermoforming process is one of the oldest and elementary process for the forming of plastics.  The process is used to form thermoplastic flat sheets into a three-dimensional shape.  There are many benefits of using composites for your applications.

Soltec has a large 48”X48” Thermoforming Machine with upper and lower ramp as well as with upper and lower IR-heater.  Besides existing customer tools, Soltec designs, develops and fabricates in house tooling for thermoforming applications. Soltec is specialized in the fabrication of low smoke – flame retardant PVC/ABS thermoformed parts.
